Special Workshop:
Educational Outreach in Your Community – Learn to Engage the Next Generation of Scientists with Today’s Research
Learn how to share your research with local schools and encourage kids to love STEM by
joining us for an educational outreach workshop! During this workshop, you’ll learn the
basics of youth program development, how to effectively communicate your research to a
young audience, and create contacts with area schools and teachers. You will also develop
a one-hour interactive presentation ready to share with your target audience.
These workshops are open to graduate students, post-docs, and faculty at VTCRI.
Seating is limited. Coffee & lunch will be provided.
