VT Event: How to Use the EHS Safety Management System

The Environmental Health and Safety SMS is designed to help labs and workgroups manage their safety responsibilities as outlined in the university Health and Safety Policy. The SMS provides tools to assign and track training, enroll persons in EHS training, register laser systems and nanomaterials usage, and request chemical waste pickups. If chemicals, class 3 or 4 laser systems or nanomaterials are used in a lab, the use of the SMS is mandatory. This training will provide an overview of how to use the SMS. Bring your own lunch!
